I just had to shared some pictures of how lovely everything looked this morning. It is a warm, fresh morning here on the farm and everything is bursting at the seams with green foliage.
The front garden is amazing. It is so full and lush, every morning I just look at it and sigh with happiness. There is something about watching what you plant grow.
The hanging baskets are looking beautiful. Lots of colour.
The herb pots around the back porch are filling in nicely. Although I do have the herb garden I always like to grow some on the porch not just for the aroma but it is easier when I cook to grab some from one of the pots.
The back of the property is so dense and green I forget how open it is in the winter. The smell is heavenly.
We have a pile of broken old cupboards and tables from my grandmother's barn which we use to build with. I had not seen a chipmunk this spring until now.
I guess they have taken up residence in the pile of old wood. Good taste I say.
I have to show you one last picture of the front. The sun was just shining through the fence. Lovley!
My tomatoes are standing up strong and proud. I cannot wait for them to be ready to eat, but that is a long time off. I am already looking at new recipes. Here is one from
